be any different from the REAL world, right?.... How wrong I was!
My name is John Khu. I have been a trading in commercial properties for
more than 20 years and I remember starting it the hard way. When I
first started, I had absolutely no idea how to spot a good property,
how a little signage down the street can make a difference in price or
how a simple corner layout can mean selling it for a million more or a
million less!
But I was determined to succeed and dared to take chances. After years
of learning the ropes and making sound judgements, I have made enough

While I don't really need to make any more money, it has always
intrigued me on how money can be made on the Internet so easily
especially if there is something that can give me a good return on my

In 2002, I started dabbling in expired domain names. Back then, I
actually lost money at the beginning but I then I started to realized
that there are some "rules" to this game. Once I started playing by the
rules, I realized the game is actually quite easy!

Domain names are as important to any business as their company name. It
provides an instant branding or in some cases, an easy-to-remember
domain names that can get you a lot more eyeballs on the internet and
online traffic.
And traffic for an internet website is truly the asset that can bring

(Go figure why Google paid billions for YouTube and Microsoft wants to
break the bank to buy Yahoo. It's no coincident that they ranked high
in the list of the most visited websites)
However, most people would think that good domain names have all been
taken up and if you are one of them then you are half-right! Yes, good
domain names have been snapped up but guess what...
...there is an expiry date to every domain name and if they are not
renewed... BINGO!!
That's when the excitement begins!

...intrigued by the sheer numbers of expired domains but then totally
and utterly confused!
And even if you are smart enough to figure out the terms used, you are
soon going to realize that not all expired domain names are well,
"expired" equal!
More about that later....

"Why Expired Domains?
Now why would people be interested to pay a premium for a domain name
when a new one at any domain name registrar like godaddy only cost
less than US$10 a year?!
So here is a reason why expired domains are HOT!
Say you want to start a new internet business. Obviously you will need
a good website domain name and most importantly you want lots of
traffic to your website.
One of the way to generate traffic is by having good visibility in
search engines. If you understand Search Engine Optimization (and
worse still if you don't!) to get good rankings in Search Engines like
Google, Yahoo or MSN for popular keywords would take a long time and it
may even cost you a fortune to establish good back links.

Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
